Boston International School Panama joins International School Partnership

We are very pleased to announce that Boston School International joined International Schools Partnership a few days ago. The school is located in Costa del Este, Panama.

Established in 2012, Boston School International is today one of the country’s most respected IB schools. It has been a pleasure to engage with Mr. and Mrs. Sosa (Founders) throughout the transaction and we look forward to working closely together in the future.

Boston School International is an IB World School with 470 students. The school is part of the Primary Years Programme (PYP), currently in candidate status for the MYP, and has the Diploma Programme (DP). The school is a private co-educational day school that educates children from 3-18 years of age, and offers an Early Years Program (Nursery, Pre-Kinder, Kinder) a Primary School (Grades 1-6) and a Secondary School Program (Grades 7-10) with a programme based on the Common Core Curriculum. In grades 11 and 12, students complete the IB Diploma Programme.

Boston School International follows the traditional northern hemisphere timetable, beginning the academic year in mid-August and ending in late June. The school’s vision is, very much aligned to that of ISP, is centered on students developing an active and creative mind, along with the capacity for critical thinking through a technologically advanced, international bilingual education programme.

30% of students are Panamanians and 70% of international students come from 32 countries throughout the Americas and beyond. All graduating students are able to enter into their university of choice and approximately 80% apply and are accepted into overseas universities.

As part of our welcome to the group, regional colleagues have been meeting with students, parents, and staff to discuss how we will work in partnership to support Boston School International to continue its path to being the ‘school of choice’ in the local area.

Boston School International represents the 8th school in the MexCa region and the second school in Central America, extending ISP’s reach to 62 schools across more than 16 countries.

Please join us in welcoming the Headmaster of Boston School International, Alexander Bennet, and his team, to ISP. You can read more about the school on the website:
