ISP WELCOMES NEW HEAD OF SCHOOL TO COLEGIO LA COLINA
The International Schools Partnership (ISP) is delighted to announce that John Morales has been appointed as the new Head of School for Colegio La Colina in Colombia.
John is an accomplished educator having had extensive experience, working as a teacher, academic director, section principal and university professor before becoming a head of school both internationally and within Colombia.
John completed his undergraduate studies in Modern Languages at the University of Caldas, Colombia and went on to complete a graduate degree in Educational Leadership. John also pursued a master’s degree in Linguistics before completing his doctorate at the University of Granada in Spain.
Fluent in English, French, Spanish and Italian, John is passionate about integrating languages into learning, having written articles about Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and having participated as a presenter in several conferences on the subject.
Speaking about John’s appointment to his new role at Colegio La Colina, Guy Worthington, ISP Regional Managing Director – South America said:
“John is a genuinely child centred, learning focussed educator with a wealth of educational leadership experience in Colombia and overseas. He is a caring and compassionate individual with a strong sense of service and collaboration, and a clear understanding of all that is required in the journey to nurture and cultivate young minds, to form global citizens and the leaders of tomorrow”.
