Based in the United States, in Seattle, Washington, Bellevue Children’s Academy® and Willows Preparatory School are two schools, on four campuses, united by one philosophy. Both schools strive to inspire a love of learning, foster compassion and innovation and finally, empower future global leaders, which they do through a stimulating curriculum and extracurricular activities, as well as through teachers who are invested in the success of each child.
Beginning in 2000, Bellevue Children’s Academy® started to push the boundaries of early education and elementary education, settling for nothing less than a dynamic program that would inspire and foster the potential that lies within every child. As an International Baccalaureate® World School, Bellevue Children’s Academy® (BCA®) provides an educational framework that fosters the development of the whole child. They are attentive to students’ social, emotional and physical welfare, guiding them to excel both academically and developmentally.
Willows Preparatory School (WPS®) an International Baccalaureate® World School, offers a middle school program for students in grades six through eight, in addition to a high school, which opened its doors in September 2019 to its first freshman class. It is a dynamic learning environment where students are able to explore and be challenged in multiple areas of interest while being comfortable to freely engage in academic pursuits with independence and collaboration.
Bellevue Children’s Academy® and Willows Preparatory School® students are motivated to become global citizens who demonstrate innovation, creativity and dignity. With a learning environment that fosters internationally-minded people who recognise their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, students of BCA® and WPS® grow to care deeply about the world we share.
