Chris grew up in an army family, living around the world for his first 18 years; in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and South America, as well as across South West England. He studied Classics at Durham University in the UK, staying on to do an exchange year in Spain, and then spent five years as a reconnaissance officer in the British Army.
Chris was excited to join International School Partnership (ISP) in April 2019 as Business Development Executive, and to combine working in education with his love of travel. As a member of the Business Development team, the unpredictability and travel make him feel very much at home! Chris is now looking forward to finding exciting opportunities in new markets as ISP continues to grow.
Outside of work, Chris is an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for wild places, camping and human-powered travel: he did lots of hiking and mountaineering growing up; got into bike touring at university, cycling the length of Europe on one occasion; and then took up cross-country skiing in the Army, spending two winters learning to race in Norway! He is probably at his happiest reading a book in his tent after a day in the hills.
