Claudia was born in the north of Chile. Her mother is a Biology teacher and her father is an English teacher, and this helped shape her own connection with Education. Claudia studied Preschool Education at the University of Antofagasta and then Psychopedagogy at Educares University, Santiago.
For many years, Claudia dedicated herself to training new teachers within management positions at different universities. As well as her passion for education and the opportunity to continuously learn from students, she has always had a special interest in educational research. For this reason, Claudia completed a Doctorate program in Pedagogical Research, at Ramon Llull University in Barcelona, Spain.
Ten years ago, she arrived in the schools´ world and feels she has more to learn and share. . For Claudia, working with people is very important and she loves to form work teams with those who share the same vision and are passionate about education.
In her spare time, apart from spending time with her family, Claudia loves knitting, embroidering, sewing and painting. She is also passionate about reading, so she always carries one or two books in her bag. Claudia really enjoys the summer, particularly the month of September, as this is when the Chilean National Holiday is celebrated and she can dance the cueca, the typical dance of the central region, which she has enjoyed since she was a child!
