Damian Quinn

Group Property Director

Damian studied International Relations and Strategic Studies at Lancaster University and then spent eighteen years developing his leadership and management skills as an Officer in the Royal Engineers, deploying on multiple operations to Iraq and Afghanistan.  On leaving the Army he spent the next four years as the Bursar at St John’s College School in Cambridge, learning how independent schools operate and the challenges of delivering new building projects within an operational school environment.

Damian joined the International Schools Partnership (ISP) in August 2015 and was appointed as Group Property Director in August 2017.  One of his career highlights so far at ISP has been witnessing the transformation of Laude The Lady Elizabeth School in Spain from barren hillside into some of the most inspiring teaching spaces across the Group.

Damian’s wife is Head of EYFS at their local school and they have two teenage children. He is passionate about the benefits of sport for children and can be found at weekends coaching rugby.  Damian is also an adrenalin junkie and enjoys a physical challenge. He is a keen snowboarder and mountain climber. He has recently taken up trail running and is in training for a 50-mile ultra-marathon across the English Lake District in 2019.
