Dana Vasquez’s philosophy of education embodies her belief that every student can learn, albeit not necessarily in the same way or at the same pace. This conviction fuels her dedication to putting students first, meeting them where they are, nurturing a growth mindset, and providing the individualized instruction they need in order to reach their full potential.

A seasoned educator with an impressive 25-year tenure, Dana’s diverse experience spans both public and private schools, where she has taught students from elementary to high school. She has served as a Curriculum and Instruction Specialist, during which time she led a curriculum mapping initiative that produced a cohesive and effective learning experience for students.

Over her seven years as an Administrator – Assistant Principal, Principal, and Head of School – Dana has proven to be a strong and effective leader and a steadfast champion of her colleagues. She is passionate about coaching and mentoring fellow educators and empowering them to become the best versions of themselves in the classroom.

Dana holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in English. A lifelong learner, she is currently pursuing an EdD in Education, demonstrating her commitment to continuous growth.

Beyond her professional life, Dana enjoys spending time at the beach and chasing sunsets. Her spirit of adventure and curiosity about the world beyond the classroom were discovered during her 2016 trip to France and Italy.
