Regional Systems Manager – USA

Emad is from Palestine, born and raised in one of the fastest-growing countries, Qatar. He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Islamic University of Gaza. After serving ten years in international schools, he moved to the US to “engage” in a new environment, bringing his wide range of experience in school management systems to the region.

Emad started his career working in information technology (IT) in one of the leading international schools in Qatar, The Gulf English School. After establishing a strong track record with the school, Emad moved to the Management Information System (MIS) sector, managing the Engage system for almost seven years. He was then selected to implement the Engage system at Arab International Academy as an IT Instructional Support Specialist. This role also included supporting the technology and teaching programming for elementary students for almost four years.

Currently, Emad manages the implementation of the Engage system for the US & Canada region, following his passion for crafting a better technology environment for schools.

Emad used to be a professional ping pong player, but these days he enjoys cooking at home with his wife and two beautiful children and traveling worldwide.
