Gideon Moolenburgh

Regional Finance Director – Vietnam & Thailand

Gideon is the Regional Finance Director for Vietnam and Thailand and has over 23 years of Finance experience in Europe, Middle East and Asia. Originally from the Netherlands he holds Thai citizenship, speaks Thai and is based in Bangkok. He has worked in a broad range of senior Finance roles including several regional finance director positions for reputable multinational companies in various industries of which the last 14 years in Thailand. He graduated with a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and later specialized in Finance and Accounting as a Certified Management Accountant. He completed the Board Director Certification Program at the Thai Institute of Directors which focuses on Corporate Governance and sustainable company success.

He believes that with his experience he can bring best practices to the ISP finance function and support the growth in the region by improving and automating operations and increasing profits. He has led small and large teams and he enjoys commercial business partnering in addition to traditional financial accounting. Gideon likes challenges and to make complex things easy to understand. As Einstein said “”Everything should be as simple as possible, but not simpler.”

After work, Gideon enjoys travelling with his family in Thailand and throughout Asia as well as swimming, mountain biking, eating Thai and Japanese food and reading. His four cats are part of his family.
