Gustavo Sever

Gustavo is a dual citizen of Spain and Venezuela who at the age of 16 had the opportunity to be an exchange student in New Jersey, USA. This educational experience as a teenager marked his passion for international education and professional career in 4 different countries: Venezuela, USA, Curacao, and Bolivia prior to his arrival to Chile.

He is a graduate of Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela and also obtained a Master of Arts of Educational Leadership with specialisation in English as a Second Language from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, USA. In 2011, Gustavo received his international certification as a Team Coach from LIM – Leadership in International Management and ICC – International Coaching Community and in 2012 he completed his International Principals’ Certification from the Principal Training Center (PTC) in the USA.

Gustavo is passionate about teaching and learning and believes in the power of a healthy school climate to establish the best educational experience for all students. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, gastronomy, and language learning. He is fully bilingual (English and Spanish)| and speaks fluent Papiamento, a creole language spoken in the ABC Dutch Caribbean islands, and is currently learning Italian.
