Hussain Alhamo
Regional Head of Technology – Middle East
After completing his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Mosul in Iraq in 2011, Hussain moved to the UAE to pursue a career in Information Technology and Engineering. During his time in the UAE, he also received a Master of Science in Networking and Systems Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology based in New York. Given his interest in computer and analytic codes, Hussain has been working in the information technology industry for the past seven years, with four years in Education businesses. He enjoys problem solving and working collaboratively to address IT system issues across the various school systems within the region. Over the course of his career, Hussain has managed and coordinated the implementation of streamlined IT systems that help maximise efficiencies and ensure network security. He is passionate about finding innovative and groundbreaking solutions that will support all of the schools within the International Schools Partnership (ISP).
Hussain’s leisure activities include playing squash, enjoying a game of dominos with his friends, and playing and watching football. During his time off, he enjoys traveling to explore new cities and getting to know more about other cultures around the world.
