Ian Temple

Campus Principal, Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park

Ian is originally from Sunderland in the United Kingdom where he gained eighteen years of experience working in three different schools throughout the North East of England. His career has taken him from a classroom teacher delivering Business Studies and ICT to a Head of Department, Head of 6th Form and Deputy Head teacher of an outstanding school.  Ian’s first Headship was at an outstanding International School in Dubai where he spent six years delivering a British styled education to children from 3 to 18 years old. Ian is currently the Campus Principal at Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park in Malaysia.

Ian completed his BA Business Studies and Master’s in Education both at the University of Sunderland. He has also completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH). His career and qualifications have given him the privilege of working with some outstanding educationalists who have inspired him throughout his career.

Ian is big fan of cricket and follows both Durham and England and is also very health conscious, so enjoys both healthy eating and exercise. He likes to travel and experience different countries and cultures as well as socialising with friends and colleagues to ensure they are more than just a virtual connection in this ‘Internet of things’ driven world.
