International School Andalucía

International School Andalucía offers a unique opportunity for students aged 3 to 18 years old to study a British Curriculum in the Sevilla region of Spain.

International School Andalucía offers the best of the British National Curriculum to students aged 3 to 18 years. Teachers strive to stimulate a passion for learning in all children and take a learner-centred approach to encourage curiosity and problem-solving. The school is committed to outstanding academic standards which is demonstrated through consistently above national average results in IGCSE, A-Level and Spanish Selectividad examinations in both the UK and Spain. In 2018, International School Andalucía achieved the ‘Best in the World’ award for their IGCSE French results and a ‘Best in Europe’ award for IGCSE Chemistry results – demonstrating the high educational standards promoted in the school.

All British curriculum teachers at International School Andalucía are native teachers who were trained in the UK, whilst teachers of Spanish, French and German are also native to these countries; this is an attribute unique to the local area and that facilitates a truly trilingual education. Students are taught in a way that develops their capacity for work, research skills, expression and communication, so as to prepare them fully for modern society. This is done through a blend of passionate teachers as well as world-class facilities and well-resourced classrooms. Students can take advantage of a spacious auditorium, outdoor sports pitches, an indoor gymnasium, equipped music and art rooms a brand new library and much more.

Social development is just as important to International School Andalucía as intellectual development, and the school offers a fully integrated Personal, Social and Health Education programme from Reception through to Year 13, to help children attune to their emotional world. Students are also encouraged to contribute to society with topical research as well as take part in unique social activities such as the Marine Volunteer Programme in Javea, Model United Nations and the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. International School Andalucía promotes a balanced whole-child education and it is through this approach that children are excited and prepared for a successful future.
