John Zuman

Headmaster- Bellevue Children’s Academy and Willows Preparatory School

Dr. John Zuman began his career as a high school mathematics, science, and computer teacher. He then worked at a math and science education development center and as the Executive Director of the Intercultural Center for Research in Education, a non-profit educational institution dedicated to education improvement projects world-wide.

Dr. Zuman then went on to lead the Del Campo International Schools in Honduras, a consortium of five schools he helped found and nurture. For the past five years, he has served as Headmaster of the Colegio Colombo Británico, an IB World School in Cali, Colombia, with 1,250 students. During his tenure, the school was awarded international accreditation from the Council of International Schools, reflecting a deep commitment to high-quality education and continuous improvement.

Dr. Zuman holds a Bachelor of Science degree from MIT and Ed.M. and Ed.D. degrees in Educational Administration from Harvard University. He is a native of the Czech Republic and is fluent in English and Spanish.
