Karina Zayas

Regional Director of Marketing, Admissions, and Communications – USA

Karina was born and raised in the sunshine of Miami, Florida, United States, where she is still based. She studied political science and psychology at Florida International University before going on to earn her master’s in business administration from the University of Miami. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish.

After a brief flirtation with the idea of going to law school, it became clear that Karina’s real passion lay in creativity and communications, inevitably leading her to a career in marketing. A firm believer in doing work you love and believe in, she set out to specialize in the education space, spending five years managing digital marketing for Miami Dade College, followed by two years directing marketing and communications for the Florida International Bankers Association.

In April of 2019, Karina joined the ISP USA team as Regional Marketing Director, where she supported the marketing and communications functions of their schools, helping them tell their stories and become the best versions of themselves. In May of 2020, she was promoted to Regional Director of Marketing, Admissions and Communications where she currently oversees those functions across the US & Canada region.

When she’s not hard at work, you can find Karina spending time with her family, taking photos, watching stand-up comedy, dancing at a concert or taking in a Broadway musical.
