Marc Henry

Regional Head of Property – Europe

Marc was born in Geneva, Switzerland, and later lived in San Francisco and Milan, for both his studies and professional career, where he became fluent in English and Italian, beyond his native French and spoken German. As an Art Center College of Design (Europe) graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design, he began his professional career in industrial graphic design and marketing, gaining experience in various areas such as advertising, entertainment marketing and private education.

He gradually moved into the hospitality industry as venues manager during the 2004 Athens and 2006 Torino Olympic Games, prior to embracing a brand and retail architecture career for luxury groups such as Richemont and LVMH for 15+ years, during which time he also obtained his IPMA Master’s degree in Senior Project Management.

Marc is a strong believer in delivering a great client experience for our pupils and parents, as essential to build customer loyalty and emotional attachment to our schools. The application of all these principles ensures the ongoing, smooth running of the schools. Principals and SLT can allow education to proceed, safe in the knowledge that the premises are fit-for-purpose, fully functional, not only meeting but also exceeding users’ expectations as well as all regulatory requirements.

Marc joined International Schools partnership in September 2022 as Head of Property for the Europe region, supervising schools in the UK, Switzerland, Italy and Poland. He is an active member of The Swiss Consulting Association, where he shares experience and good practice with top professionals in this field of expertise from around the world.

In his spare time, Marc loves all outdoor sports, especially hiking, ice water swimming and downhill skiing, as well as travels combining leisure, art, architecture, design and gastronomy, whether in the company of his family or extended family of friends from around the globe.
