The school is committed to outstanding academic standards which is demonstrated through consistently above national average results in IGCSE, A-Level and Spanish Selectividad examinations in both the UK and Spain. In 2018, The International School of Andalucía achieved the ‘Best in the World’ award for their IGCSE French results and a ‘Best in Europe’ award for IGCSE Chemistry results – demonstrating the high educational standards promoted in the school.
All British curriculum teachers at The International School of Andalucía are native teachers who were trained in the UK, whilst teachers of Spanish, French and German are also native to these countries; this is an attribute unique to the local area and that facilitates a truly trilingual education. Students are taught in a way that develops their capacity for work, research skills, expression and communication, so as to prepare them fully for modern society.
