Zoe Howorth
Non-Executive
From Zambia to the Bahamas to Birmingham, the daughter of expat teachers, Zoe’s early years were an eclectic cultural mixing pot which gave her a lifelong love for travel and a deep appreciation for education. Zoe studied economics at Exeter University and followed her fascination with brands by joining Procter & Gamble aged 22, working on their soap powder portfolio.
Zoe spent 17 years at the Coca-Cola Company progressing to UK Marketing Director, where she oversaw the 2012 Olympic games, won a Cannes Lion for Creativity (World Cup campaign), led teams of talented people and supported the growth of the UK business to over £1bn revenue.
A mum of 2 fun-loving boys, Zoe moved into the Non-Exec world as they entered their teenage years and has been part of several digital first, high growth, entrepreneurial businesses as they have scaled. A proud member of WACL, she helped to set up their female mentoring program mid pandemic in 2020.
Today, Zoe sits on 3 boards, AG Barr PLC, a UK listed FTSE soft drink business for which she chairs ESG and sits on the Renumeration Committee, Water Babies International, a global leading baby swimming business and linked to this she is also a director of the Children’s First Alliance a CIC which seeks to give every child the best start in life.
Right now, Sustainability is her learning goal, a fast moving and increasingly regulated space, and critical for the future of our planet and our children.
