Business Support Manager – Middle East
Nishita lived in India and then migrated to Australia in 1985 with her husband and two young children. Whilst working and having a young family, she completed her Master of Business Management from the Federation University Australia (previously known as University of Ballarat). Nishita worked in the tourism and education sector in Australia. Whilst working in the education sector, Nishita was seconded from Central Queensland University Brisbane International Campus, to run the MBA Programme in Fiji for a semester. This provided her with an opportunity to assimilate in the culture and lifestyle, giving her an experience that helped her develop an interest in a multi-cultural environment. This further encouraged her to pursue and complete a second Master of Management, with a focus on Cross Cultural Leadership Management and Human Resources. When an opportunity presented itself to seek employment out of Australia, she persevered to gain employment in the United Arab Emirates in 2000 with the Abu Dhabi Government, in the education sector. This enabled her to follow her interest in multiculturalism. Nishita is passionate about education and continuous lifelong learning. Working in education management for the past twenty years, is very fulfilling for her, as it provides an opportunity to support students and educationists with requirements that help them pursue their goals and achieve success.
Nishita loves travelling, walking, reading, watching television, spending time with her family especially the grand kids.
