ISP Ambassadors to Mexico Trip Signals a New Global Collaborative Opportunity
Students and staff from all ISP schools have embarked on an inaugural trip to Mexico to spend two weeks at the prestigious Instituto Thomas Jefferson (ITJ) in Mexico City.
Students will stay with host families from ITJ and will spend two weeks at the School being integrated into school life as well as experiencing valuable cultural opportunities in and around the City. The programme will benefit all schools involved as they will access and share new Learning and Teaching methods, new ICT delivery and user skills as well as form education-based relationships for many years to come.
A New Strategic Alliance
ISP schools and ITJ share many synergies including a common goal to prepare children for their future by nurturing them as responsible global citizens equipped to succeed in the next stage of their lives. Through this and other shared values, we have developed a strategic alliance to pave the way for ISP and ITJ to achieve our visions and values in an unparalleled collaborative way to the direct benefit of our children.
ITJ hosts a Department of Research and New Projects made up of specialists in their field of study whose responsibility it is to create collaborative projects to develop the School’s educational model in a world where change is more rapid than ever before. Staff from ISP schools will have the exciting opportunity to share best practice with ITJ colleagues in this department on initiatives for the future including offering students a flexible study approach whether that is in Mexico, Spain, the UK or the Gulf.
