Where we are
Instituto Thomas Jefferson (ITJ) in Mexico joined the partnership in April 2015. ITJ is a leading private school in Mexico with 5 schools across the country educating over 5,700 children. Students and staff have already undertaken collaborative opportunities including an Ambassadors’ Trip to Mexico with students and staff from other ISP schools travelling to Mexico to experience life at ITJ and in Mexico. Students from the Laude schools in Spain attended the annual Model United Nations hosted by ITJ in 2017. ISP is currently investing in an expansion project at ITJ Zona Esmeralda in Mexico City and ITJ Valle Real in Guadalajara as well as looking at other new investment projects with ITJ schools. The five Instituto Thomas Jefferson schools are:
- Santa Monica and Zona Esmeralda (Mexico City)
- Palomar and Valle Real (Guadalajara)
St. Jude School in Costa Rica joined the partnership in February 2018. The school was establised in 1963 and now has nearly 800 students from 1 – 18 years of age. St. Jude School, a UNESCO associated school, places the importance on building professionals for the future with a clear social commitment, through a fully rounded education that goes beyond academics alone.
Colegios Laude joined the partnership in May 2014. The 7 private schools in Spain offer a high quality, multi-lingual education from 1-18 years of age. With over 5,800 students in seven locations, the schools count as the largest independent international school groups in Spain. Children and students are from both Spanish as well as expat communities in the local markets.

- Fontenebro School (near Madrid)
- The Lady Elizabeth School (Javea, Alicante)
- Newton College (Elche, Alicante)
- Palacio de Granda (Asturias)
- San Pedro International College (Marbella)
Since 2014, investment projects at Laude schools have included:
- development of Senior Leadership Teams across schools
- introduction of new curricula across schools
- new junior school facilities at British School of Vila-Real and Newton College
- nursery and senior school classrooms, sports hall and boarding provision at Palacio de Granda
- a new sixth form building at San Pedro International School
- nursery facilities at Fontenebro school
- a new senior school, and junior school expansion at Lady Elizabeth School
Cambridge International School
Cambridge International School joined the partnership in January 2015. CIS is made up of pupils and staff from all over the world and counts as the only international school in the city. The school provides an international education to children and students from over 30 countries speaking 27 different languages and offers the International Primary Curriculum as well as iGCSEs and GCSEs at secondary level.
Together with the school, ISP has put together a large scale development project for for the Junior school in 2017 which will see see the complete refurbishment of the building both inside and out, with improved learning and teaching spaces, while retaining the unique historical character and setting of the school.
Claremont School joined the partnership in February 2018. Claremont is located in East Sussex in the UK. There are two sites: The Nursery, Pre-Prep and Preparatory schools were established in 1925 and are located in St. Leonards-on-Sea; The more recently established Senior school and Sixth Form are located in Bodiam.
At Claremont, the school’s aim is for every child to develop a positive and proactive attitude towards learning which will support them throughout their lives. The strong academic, co-curricular, extracurricular and pastoral teams ensure that each child and student has the opportunity to develop knowledge, confidence, self-esteem, good learning habits, and a moral sense within a busy and vibrant community. This is enhanced by small class sizes and vibrant, imaginative learning opportunities.
Park House English School
Park House English School joined the partnership in April 2016. The school has over 1200 students from the ages of 3-18 and is one of the most sought after private schools in Doha, Qatar. Families at the school are local to Doha and made up from expat families from around the world who have relocated to the city.
The school runs the British curriculum and is committed to creating and maintaining an environment where students are motivated, challenged, and enthusiastic about their learning; one where they take pride in their work, are proud of their school, can reach their full potential to achieve success.
Reach British School
Reach British School joined the partnership in January 2016. The school opened in 2014 and has doubled in both student and teacher population with over 1350 students from 3 to 15 years of age, following the National Curriculum of England. The school currently educates children up to Year 11, with Year 11 opening September 2018 to offer children the iGCSE exams.
The school currently has over 40 nationalities made up of Emirati and expats families living in Abu Dhabi. The school firmly believes that the international mix of students prepares them for their lives ahead. They become confident speakers, in more than one language, they are competitive, aware of their environment and globally aware of the world.
Nibras International School
Nibras International School joined the partnership in March 2017. The school opened in 2005 and has over 780 students from almost 80 nationalities, made up of Emirati and Expats living in Dubai.
The school runs an American curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 12 aligned with the Colorado State Academic Standards. Nibras International School is currently waiting for confirmation is has been re-accredited with NEASC status, due December 2017.
Aspen Heights British School
Aspen Heights British School opened its doors for the first time on 10th September 2017 to children from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 6. Located in the Al-Bahya area near Yas Island on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, Aspen Heights combines the best practice of the British National Curriculum with the requirements of the Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) using environmental themes to enhance curriculum delivery. The school’s learning environment will focus on enquiry based learning, developing children’s independence and problem solving skills.
The Aquila School
The Aquila School is the latest school in the group to be built, and will open in Dubai Land, Dubai in September 2018. It will cater initially for FS1 to Year 4, with new year groups to be added each new academic year. The school will offer the National English Curriculum, and at the end of secondary will offer the vocational BTEC as well as IB courses for Year 13 students.
This new school will offer ‘Real Learning for a Real Future’, focusing on practical learning and independence of thought. The school will be led by a founding Principal and Head of Primary who join from a top UAE school, and combined with state of the art, newly built school facilities, this school will be a very strong school in Dubai when it opens.
Kehoe-France joined the partnership in November 2017. Kehoe-France is located in the state of Louisiana, USA. There are two campuses: Kehoe-France Northshore in Covington and Kehoe-France Southshore in Metairie. Both campuses provide an education for students from 8 weeks old through to Grade 7. Kehoe-France is well-respected within the community. Both campuses stand out not only for their academic and liberal arts curriculum, but also for the importance placed on developing social skills and building character. As well as being accredited NIPSA and SACSCOC, Kehoe-France has recently announced the schools will be following the Primary Years Program (PYP) and Middle Years Program (MYP) from International Baccalaureate.
Tenby Schools, Malaysia
Tenby Schools in Malaysia joined the partnership in January 2018. They are a group of International and Malaysian schools including: Ipoh (Perak), Penang, Setia Eco Park (Shah Alam), Miri, Setia Eco Gardens (Johor Bahru), Setia EcoHill (Semenyih), and Tropicana Aman scheduled to open in 2018. All schools provide an education for students from 3 to 18 years of age.
Tenby Schools have gained a reputation for excellence over 50 years in providing education to families in Malaysia. The schools put a particular emphasis on encouraging the values of cultural diversity and acceptance of others and each has a strong sense of community.
